Thing #5 Documents

The best format for me would be text since I am not in a classroom but sharing typed information with others.

I don't think Google Docs will replace Microsoft Office because Microsoft Office will still be used for word processing for applications that are not meant to be shared.

  1. I am not able to access your document. Did you choose share (upper right corner)...get the link to share? If you want us to have the ability to edit the document, make sure you check the "edit" box also.

  2. Thanks for the tip. I went back and clicked on share so you can access the document. I did not find the edit box.

  3. Good point Terry about Office. The fact that Google Docs is all about sharing your work. Plenty of things to do with office you won't share...yeah, MS office, or some other computer-residing document creation tool will be around for ever.
